A good win for Glenys Hanson and Baz Brazier today in the Doubles Cup final against Alan Oliver and Roy Hassell. A final of high quality despite the showers.

Well Done Kathryn!

The Crown Bowling season is well underway now and we have our first winners.
Congratulations to Glenys and Vic who have won the Hero’s Cup.

The bowling season has now ended but from October 7th Indoor Curling sessions will start.

These are fun casual sessions open to everyone. You don’t have to be a member of the bowls club and we welcome anyone – especially those who have not played indoor curling before.
Indoor Curling sessions take place at the Mere Green Community Centre every Friday from 1pm to 4pm.
Price is just £4 per session. Just come along and pay at the door.
We look forward to seeing you.
A lovely day in August playing our annual Doubles Trophy Competition.

A great close game in the EBOS league in June. It’s great to be playing a full season again after the trials of the pandemic.

Some members from Mere Green and Ley Hill Men spent an afternoon on hands and knees cleaning and neatening up the gutters and surrounds. A needed, back breaking effort but well worth while.
